.MOV Film Festival

Our keywords connect with our audience by having the words relate to the audience and having them really relate to people. If your scripts didn't really have any connection with the audience they won't have any emotion in the movie and really connect with them. If you dont have the audience connecting with the movie they won't be that interested in that movie they might want to go see a different movie. Wouldn't you want people to love your movie and want to see it over and over again thats why you should have your keywords connect with the audience. It's really important to make sure that your movie relates to other people and have a lot of emotion in it so everyone gets drawn into the movie and feels like there in the movie.

The message my movie is giving everyone is that bullying can really HURT someone and that hurting someone is not that nice. If you ever get bullied TELL someone and they will help you and help the person who is bullying you. We wanted to bring AWARENESS to everyone (parents, teachers, kids, principles, ect..) this has been happening a lot and not a lot of people know that there KIDS might be getting bullied or there BEST FRIEND might be getting bullied and if you have someone helping you get through this it will help you a lot. Our movie will HELP kids a lot with bullies and show you the easy way to get out of bullies without hurting yourself and other kids!Bullying happens all around the WORLD and some end up dying so if you are getting bullied its really important to tell someone it will help you and the other person a lot! So beware if any kids are getting BULLIED or if you are getting BULLIED tell someone and ask for HELP!!

My biggest challenge I faced in making the movie is getting everything filmed on time. When we got our camera it was on 2 bars and Mr.Sanderl didn't give us a battery so we had to film in a rush. We tried to do everything but we just couldn't our camera died so we just worked on our plan and memorized our scripts. Since we couldn't film everything we had to do it another day so that meant we were a day behind. It was really hard to get everyone to film another day because everyone was busy and other things came up. So we had people shoot only there scenes one day and other people shoot there scenes another day so we would get all the shots done. Even though it was a bit of a STRUGGLE we got all of the shots done and we were only one day behind but we got caught up by staying in during recess and working on it.

Tiny Spherical Worlds

Why composite images is more then 1 photo is if you take 1 photo the computer cant blend all the photos together to make 1 big panorama. Imagine you getting a puzzle but you only have 1 piece that is what its like in composite photos. You cant only have 1 photo to make the photo bigger, you need more photos to overlap and make 1 big one. Composite images is very important if you want to make a panorama because, you need a lot of photos to make a panorama so it will turn out correct. Taking more then 1 photo helps you a lot so you know that you are doing what you are supposed to be doing and not following the directions and having your composite images all be off and not going through because you didn't take more then 1 photo you took a couple so you can make a panorama or something different.

The difference between a polar and a spherical pano is the polar pano is a sphere image that has you in the photo and it looks like you are standing on the earth. In the polar pano it looms like you are bigger then the
world. You are the star attraction in the photo and the world is behind you. The spherical pano is an image that is from the ground and you are the star attraction from the ground. You are right in the center in the spherical pano and the world is curling all around you in a big ball. Both panos are a lot alike but the format is a lot different. One pano is from the ground and the other in from a very high point and it looks like you are bigger then the earth.

My finished tiny worlds are convincing because the worlds look like there all one not bunch of different pictures. Also before we made them a world there was a big line in between the world and i smeared everything to make it look all together and not a bunch of little pictures. My tiny worlds are all blended together really good and they don't look like there a bunch of different pictures. They look like there is only one big picture and not a bunch of different pictures that are combined horribly. The tiny worlds look like the real world and not a fake unrealistic world that looks nothing like a world. I could do somethings to make my worlds better but overall I think I did well overall we had a really tight time limit and I'm new at all of this (I don't really know everything I'm doing but Im learning).

Hockney Style Joiners

David Hockney's photomontage is different from mine is his photomontage sends different messages then mine. I think he put more time into his photos then mine. Also we all have different ideas and thoughts about how we want our photomontage to look. If we all thought the same way  nothing would look different and everything would be the same. The difference between my photomontage and David Hockney's is mine has a different story then all of his photomontage. When you look at our photomontage each one tells a different story and looks different. They all don't look the same.

If you show a discouraging image it might discourage people and send a negative message. You don't want to send a lot of discouraging images because not  a lot of people will want to look at your photos anymore. I think everyone doesn't want to be discouraged they would rather be encouraged. If you show a very happy and positive photo most likely people would rather want to look at that image then discouraging images. Sending a positive image makes people feel a lot better the image could make everyone fell good about themselves and not hating stuff about themselves. Sending positive or negative images is very easy to do sometimes you don't even know that you have sent a negative message in an image.

I intend my audience to read this photomontage as the tree sprouting and growing taller and seeing that as me I will be growing taller and sprouting and being myself. This photomontage is relating to me and everyone else because everyone changes and goes there own way. We are all changing in our own ways and trying to figure out who we are and this photo it is relating to us with the tree its showing as the tree grows we will grow to. Sometimes trees bend and go other directions and that is what we will do but no matter what we can go strait again and we can go back to the correct path.

2016 Aspirations

I have a lot of goals for 2016, but I have 5 main ones. The first goal is to pick up at least 5 pieces of trash whenever I go to the beach or the park. Also I will eat less sugary and unhealthy foods this year and I will try to eat more healthy and be a little bit more fit. Another goal for me is to try to go outside a lot more instead of being on my phone, like after school riding my bike around and adventuring a little or doing something active outside. I would also like to read more books this year last year I didn't read that much and it didn't help me at school so this year I will try harder! My last goal is to try to be positive all the time and not get upset or annoyed easily.

I think my most important goal is trying to be positive all the time and not getting annoyed or upset easily. Why I think that is my most important goal is if you are alway mad your life will change you won't try your hardest at everything and you will be depressed. But if your are positive and you try to stay happy and calm all day your life will feel brighter and happier and a lot more easier. I think being positive is very important in your life. If you get easily annoyed or upset all the time, you change, and when you talk to your parents or they try to talk to you your conversations it will change in a bad way and not in a good way. Being happy and positive all the will change your life in a very good way.

To make sure this goal happens its gonna take a lot of effort. I will try to be nicer to my siblings and fight less with them by, not getting really mad and saying something rood back if they make me mad or annoyed. I will also stay calm when I talk to my parents instead of yelling at them if I'm mad. I will take 5 deep breaths and talk calmly and try to calm down and not yell at them. I will do everything my parents tell me to do and try my hardest if I don't want to do it instead if getting mad at my parents and walking away. To be positive all the time its gonna take a lot of effort and time.

Scratch Game Design

My user experience influenced me a lot. They helped me see what could be changed and what was really good. I love doing fun and weird things that no one would ever think of and the user helped with my imagination and changing things up in my game. I tried to make my game hard but not so hard that you cant win. Also it helps me see that a lot of people do coding and scratch and that even though its sort of hard they never give up they keep on trying. I've had some trouble in code but seeing that everyone keeps trying it gives me the strength to not give up and keep on trying. Everyone has helped me so much.

There are a lot of features in this game. For example a feature in these games are the sprites and the platforms. Also the background is a feature. Some more features in this game are timer, the backdrops, the scripts for the sprite to be able to move and for the backdrops to. A lot of games don't really teach you things, we play them because they are fun. But in the scratch game it's fun, it challenges us and it teaches us at the same time.  The scratch game is not like all the regular games it's different, I love trying new and different things because it challenges my brain and makes it work after school. We can learn from really fun games and we won't even know that we are learning, at first I didn't know that we could learn from that game because it was so interesting.

I think my best code was the plat former game even though its not the best game I made but its the hardest code I've made. I really like it but it doesn't really work that smooth it has a lot of bugs in it. My first game I made called the chase game didn't have that much bugs as the plat former game but the coding was really easy so it didn't challenge me. My most difficult bug fix was in the plat former game. It was making the sprite be able to jump, at first when I pressed the up arrow it would go to the right and it would try to walk in the wall. I had to delete my whole script and start all over. I had to do it a couple times but after 5 times I got it to work.

Invention Commercial

My teams main goal for this project was to make everyone laugh when they see this video . We also wanted to show that with the Stash Cam you can have the best time surfing while getting it on video. Our other goal for this project was when you watch the video you want to buy it right away and go to the beach and use the Stash Cam.

My best team moment in this project during production was saying the script in pidgin. It was super hard not to laugh while we were videotaping. I absolutely loved making the video and pretending that it was going to be on Tv . We had a very fun time shooting this video and being able to do it at the beach. While we were videotaping I looked around, everyone was happy and having fun that was the best thing ever.

During my teams post-production editing Wailana did all the padding and editing the sound because she was really interested in doing this and she was really good at it.  Kalista Did all of the transitions and did some off the footage. Why she did the transitions and took some of the footage was Wailana and I were in the footage she had to take and she did the transitions because she knew if we needed transitions there or if it wouldn't look good. I would watch the video at the end and make all the little corrections that we needed. I didn't do a lot of the editing because I was in most of the footage.

Composition Scavenger Hunt

I think the most important composition is the rule of thirds subject. Why I think it is the most important to me is it really shows that you are really neat and organized it your photography. If someone is looking at your photography and its really sloppy and all shaky or unfocused they wont think its really that good. The rule of thirds composition technique helps you with keeping everything organized and neat and everyone will think that you are really good at video taping or taking photos.

I think the most difficult composition is the ground level, because you have to go as close to the ground. Also if something hits your camera it can get scratched. Why I think its so hard for me is, whenever I put the camera as close to the ground it always gets blurry, and its hard to see because you are bending down really low. I can use the ground level composition more by using it when i'm at the beach trying to take a photo of the wave crashing on the sand. Or when I want to take a photo of something on the ground like a little ant, you wouldn't want to use the point of eye composition you wouldn't be able to see the ant.

My teammates in this project was Kalista Brigante Wailana Marvin. Kalista Brigante  edited  all the shots we took. She also put in all the transitions, music and the titles. Wailana Marvin was the actress in most of the shots and she videotaped some of the videos at the end. I was also a actress in a couple shots and I padded everything.
